  1. Hello Tam,

Such vivid info on the HOW FAMOUS COMPANY'S GET THERE NAME! Flabbergasted! Thank you for making the read a smooth sail!

The Make Public function in S3 is perfectly working these past few months and years I should say.
Just last week, we are experiencing failure in the "Make Public" function. Once I successfully upload a folder (with multiple files) then Make Public the uploaded files, the notification below shows Failure

Anyways great write up, your efforts are much appreciated.

    MuchasGracias,
    Abhiram

    1. Hello Tam,

A really interesting, clear and easily readable How Famous Company's Get Their Name and different perspectives. I will clap. So much is so well covered here.

We've been analysing our Google AdWords account and have found that since January our clicks have rocketed for no reason. We use Click Cease to track fraud and on closer inspection found that for the past 2 months 7 IP addresses all owned by Amazon are responsible for around 75% of all us spend! The system says that the OS every time was Windows XP, the browser used was always FireFox 3.0.8 and it's VPN software. When I spoke to Click Cease they believe it's a click bot running on AWS.

Configuration management has been around for a long time in web operations and systems administration AWS Training . Yet the cultural popularity of it has been limited. Most systems administrators configure machines as the software was developed before version control – that is manually making changes on servers.

Anyways great write up, your efforts are much appreciated.

      Grazie,
      Kevin

  2. Hi Bru,

I’ve often thought about this HOW FAMOUS COMPANY'S GET THERE NAME. Nice to have it laid out so clearly. Great eye opener.

I'd like to make a suggestion to improve the user experience for setting up a Reserved Instance. This comes from my own experience of using RIs on both EC2 and RDS (which is why I haven't put this in a product specific forum). AWS Tutorial

But nice Article Mate! Great Information! Keep up the good work!

    Thanks a heaps,

  3. Olà,

Your writing shines! There is no room for gibberish here clearly you have explained about HOW FAMOUS COMPANY'S GET THERE NAME. Keep writing!

Curently AWS and Amazon.com consumer accounts are bound together if you use your one and only email account to set up both. It is a complete breech of privacy to have to surrender my consumer Amazon.com account to move my AWS account to a business account. These should be able to be separated without taking down the production site. The only option available now is manual migration which is silly considering the sophistication of AWS. AWS Tutorial

I read multiple articles and watched many videos about how to use this tool - and was still confused! Your instructions were easy to understand and made the process simple.

    Cheers,
    Radhey

  4. Hi There,

Seems like I won the lottery here….This is a treasure box of blogs and your folks are like leprechauns! How Famous Company's Get Their Name!

I'm currently on the free tier and as I'm evaluating the services, I'm liking what I see. Currently my costs are low but this doesn't really help me in my evaluation cost as I'm still not seeing what my true costs would be when the free tier expires. Is there a way to see what my costs "would have been" if I was not on the free tier? I'm aware of the cost estimator, but this is not as helpful to me as knowing what my average true costs would be.

Once you enter the cloud, then configuration management becomes even more critical. That’s because virtual servers such as Amazon’s EC2 instances are much less reliable than physical ones AWS Training . You absolutely need a mechanism to rebuild them as-is at any moment. This pushes best practices like automation, reproducibility and disaster recovery into centre stage.

Please keep providing such valuable information.

    Merci Beaucoup,
    Kevin
